Gendered Archive: Seashore Vessels

'Seashore Vessels' are layered monoprints created using acrylic paint and tissue paper.

The work has been created with prints taken from elements of the everyday with textured surfaces, including vintage pressed glass vessels and domestic textiles.

The printed tissue papers have then been applied to found elements from the seashores of St Ives including common cockles, limpets and mussels, granite pebbles and cuttlefish.
